Region: La Paz
Altitude: 1400-1500 MASL
Tasting Notes: Nectarine, Caramel, Coco
This lot comes from La Paz, Honduras, more specifically the Montecillos region. The producer, Pacayal Coffee, is a large group of small farmers who are passionate about beautiful coffee. The most of the farmers are members of the Lenca culture, living in small communities isolated from most of the basic services with roads in bad conditions and low access to general education. The organization of Pacayal, helps them gain access to that through their high quality coffee. This beautifully grown and processed lot shows the quality and hard work the Pacayal farmers have put in. We are getting notes of nectarine, cantaloupe, caramel and a touch of coco, all with a defined acidity.
